It has organized temporary exhibitions and specialization courses drawing from its expertise in protecting and promoting a vast collection of significant historical and contemporary photographs and from its scientific competence in cataloguing, conserving and restoring historical works of photography. The solo shows by famous international photographers have included Axel Hütte, Mimmo Jodice, Daido Moriyama, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Edward Weston.
