As a result of the Covid-19 emergency, the exhibition on the new trends in photography and the moving image, initially designed as part of the annual Fondazione Modena Arti Visive Summer Show, has been postponed to autumn 2020 together with the other two scheduled appointments: POSTcard, the exhibition devised by the students from the School of Advanced Studies’ ICON course for curators of the contemporary image, uncovering the works in the collections managed by FMAV (at MATA from 21 November 2020 to 10 January 2021), and Broken Secrets, virtual exhibition curated by Javiera Luisina Cádiz Bedini as part of PARALLEL - European Photo Based Platform (on the site parallelplatform.org).
MOTEL brings together the works of the students finishing the 2018/2020 FMAV School of Advanced Studies’ Master’s courseon the contemporary image: Luna Belardo (1998, Pavullo nel Frignano - Modena), Leonardo Bentini (1994, Rome), Nicola Biagetti (1995, Bologna), Sara Sani (1984, Modena) and Manfredi Zimbardo (1993, Palermo).
