Established in the name of Davide Vignali, former student of the Venturi art school in Modena, who passed away prematurely in 2011, the initiative saw the participation of no fewer than 127 students in 2021/2022.
The winners are: Anita Schulte-Bunert (IIS Blaise Pascal, Reggio Emilia), 1st prize for Se dici che mi vedi meglio significa che non sto abbastanza male; Sara Ori (IIS Venturi, Modena), 2nd prize for Persone normali; Martina Magnani (Liceo Corso, Correggio (RE)), 3rd prize for Educati ad essere perfetti; Rebecca Felicelli and Sofia Kalfus (IIS Venturi, Modena), the Venturi prize for Become adult; Martina Bellapianta (IIS Venturi, Modena), special mention for Empatia; Gloria Venturelli (IIS Venturi, Modena), special mention for Non l’ho fato a posta.
The prize winners were chosen by a jury consisting of artists Eva & Franco Mattes, Davide’s parents Doriano Vignali and Marisa Spallanzani, Maria Menziani, teacher at the Venturi art school in Modena, Antonella Battilani, graphic designer, Paola Micich, graphic designer, Claudia Fini and Luca Monzani of FMAV Fondazione Modena Arti Visive. The prize-giving ceremony will take place at 11am on 26 November in Sala Toccafondo at the Antonio Delfini public library in Modena, on the ground floor of Palazzo Santa Margherita.
The photographic works and videos that recount the inner world of the young generations will be on display in the upper rooms of Palazzo Santa Margherita and published in the booklet accompanying the project. While the exhibition is open, guided tours will be held every Saturday at 5pm, led by the pupils from classes 5C, 5D and 5E of the Venturi art school in Modena as part of the “Becoming an Exhibition Mediator” work experience project.
